Artist Donates Limited Prints DELTA Ministries International is an exceptional missions organization because of the value it places on the local church. When I saw its video about its Haitian relief efforts, I got tears in my eyes. Since I am still recovering from Lyme disease, and can’t go myself, I thought donating my art could be a way for me to help.  To view and order prints, click here

Haiti Relief & Recovery Teams Our hearts have been moved as we have watched the images during the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti.  Yet we know that God has not been surprised by this disaster.  In fact, quite the opposite, He is at work in this situation bringing glory and honor to His name. In partnership with "Haiti 4 Him", DELTA's strategy is to mobilize prayer, short-term mission teams and giving for long-term relief and recovery of Haiti.
Resources DELTA Ministries can provide you with the necessary resources needed to effectively train and mobilize your team for ministry.  These resources include websites, articles, curriculum and ministry tools.  These resources will help you learn and share about Jesus Christ to others as you serve on short-term mission teams:

Prayer

DELTA Ministries recognizes and depends upon the power of prayer. God chooses to work through the prayers of His children. It is an often-quoted line at DELTA, "Without God we cannot, without us He will not.

DELTA is faced with more ministry opportunities than ever before. These opportunities are exciting! They're challenging. And sometimes they're just downright overwhelming. Success relies on the power of God. And God releases His power when people pray. So what DELTA needs in order to be victorious, to make the very most of these opportunities, is a lot of dedicated people fighting battles in prayer. Your Prayers are the solution to that need.

DELTA Force Prayer Team:  DELTA's elite prayer force team commits to pray daily for the ministry.  As a member of this team you will receive a monthly calendar providing daily prayer requests.  Click on the image below to download the current month's prayer calendar.

Here are a few specific areas you can pray for on a regular basis:

  • Pray for all the short-term missionaries who have served with DELTA. Pray that they would not become complacent and would passionately continue their relationship with the Lord.

  • Pray that the short-term mission would not be a "mountain top" experience for those who participated, but an experience that would serve as a catalyst for living a radically committed life for God back home.

Pray for teams planning to serve this year. Currently, DELTA has over 55 church teams made up of over nearly 900 people planning to serve around the world and share the love of Christ. Pray that God would confirm their calling, the logistics and support discovery for those teams.

TESTIMONIES

My MOP/DELTA experience helped me grow as a Christian.  My faith became my own not my parents.
