Training Teams and Leaders The most effective training for short-term missions is gained  by active learning and not just by watching a video or reading a book. The training process begins roughly four months prior to departure (pre-field) and should continue on field and back home after your return (post-field). We highly recommend using a training curriculum such as The Next Mile for your team.

My life will never be the same. I was on the first team sent to Arzano, Italy. When I went everyone on my team knew what they were going to do except me. God had great plans for my time there. I was able to share Christ with many and to lead two ladies to Him. I have found that I am more able to share Christ with people that I meet.
