Transforming Uganda Join DELTA Ministries, in partnership with Christian Life Ministries, if you are looking for God to use you to impact lives, leave a legacy and help us harvest a nation for God! Transforming Uganda’s short-term mission team dates:  Summer - July 23rd – August 1, 2010 or Winter – December 29th – January 9, 2011.
Haiti Relief & Recovery Teams Our hearts have been moved as we have watched the images during the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti.  Yet we know that God has not been surprised by this disaster.  In fact, quite the opposite, He is at work in this situation bringing glory and honor to His name. In partnership with "Haiti 4 Him", DELTA's strategy is to mobilize prayer, short-term mission teams and giving for long-term relief and recovery of Haiti.
Resources DELTA Ministries can provide you with the necessary resources needed to effectively train and mobilize your team for ministry.  These resources include websites, articles, curriculum and ministry tools.  These resources will help you learn and share about Jesus Christ to others as you serve on short-term mission teams:
Training Teams and Leaders The most effective training for short-term missions is gained  by active learning and not just by watching a video or reading a book. The training process begins roughly four months prior to departure (pre-field) and should continue on field and back home after your return (post-field). We highly recommend using a training curriculum such as The Next Mile for your team.
Post-Ministry Discipleship Stay the Course!
"Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." 1 Corinthians 15:58
Activate Your Church God continues to move in a mighty way through short-term missions. What started as small groups of individuals going out a few decades back has now grown into a global missions movement.

International Partnerships

International Partnerships is a ministry venture DELTA Ministries began in 2007. International Partnerships (IP) seeks to glorify God through cross-cultural partnerships by equipping and engaging national leaders to mobilize the local church in mission. The focus of IP is to come alongside the leadership of existing mission efforts in other countries for a limited time to assist in developing a church-based model of mobilization and short-term missions by that country for that country. The goal is to equip and engage nationals to execute effective church-based mission efforts through short-term missions and without direct long-term assistance from DELTA Ministries.  An Executive Summary for IP can be found hereicon ITAU Summary

DELTA’s first partner was International Teams Australia (ITAU). Our partnership with ITAU involved placing a full-funded staff member in Sydney, Australia to work out of the ITAU office. DELTA staff have seen 246 people trained on 19 teams and an additional 66 team leaders during their time in Sydney.  Indian_orphanage_2

Our DELTA staff member has finished his time in Sydney, but left culturally appropriate vision, processes, procedures and resources in place, having equipped Australians to continue the ministry after our departure. ITAU is continuing the ministry of mobilizing and equipping the local church for mission.

Throughout the process, we worked in collaboration with our partners, seeking to help them fulfil their vision for ministry in their country. At the same time we challenged, equipped and resourced them to more effectively mobilise the local church and impact the lives of individuals. Our second partnership has been established with International Teams New Zealand, placing a staff member in Tauranga, New Zealand to repeat the process. While the ministries are from the same organizational roots, they are in very different places developmentally in addition to the cultural differences to be worked through. But as with all of DELTA’s ministries, we seek to customize our programs to the needs of our partners.

DELTA is open to developing other partnerships seeking to help existing national ministries to more effectively mobilize and equip the local churches in their countries in culturally appropriate ways. TESTIMONIES

Serving with DELTA greatly impacted me as we worked with French teens; my burden for the teenagers of my country grew. God's call for me to be in ministry was confirmed in my mind. I serve as a Youth Pastor in a small, country church in North Eastern PA.
