Artist Donates Limited Prints DELTA Ministries International is an exceptional missions organization because of the value it places on the local church. When I saw its video about its Haitian relief efforts, I got tears in my eyes. Since I am still recovering from Lyme disease, and can’t go myself, I thought donating my art could be a way for me to help.  To view and order prints, click here

Haiti Relief & Recovery Teams Our hearts have been moved as we have watched the images during the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti.  Yet we know that God has not been surprised by this disaster.  In fact, quite the opposite, He is at work in this situation bringing glory and honor to His name. In partnership with "Haiti 4 Him", DELTA's strategy is to mobilize prayer, short-term mission teams and giving for long-term relief and recovery of Haiti.
Resources DELTA Ministries can provide you with the necessary resources needed to effectively train and mobilize your team for ministry.  These resources include websites, articles, curriculum and ministry tools.  These resources will help you learn and share about Jesus Christ to others as you serve on short-term mission teams:

Asher Sarjent   -   Chief Operations Officer

Serving as Chief Operations Officer, I oversee the Short-Term Mission Team Process and DELTA’s Missions Coaches, coordinate festival and crusade events and assist the CEO with organizational vision and global aspects of DELTA Ministries International.

I graduated from Multnomah Bible College in Portland, OR, with a BA in Religious studies in 1986 and have a Masters of Theology from Bakke Graduate School of the Ministry. I served in the local church for 16 years as a youth pastor before beginning my ministry with DELTA.
Over the last eleven years I have facilitated 100's of church based, short-term, multi-generational teams accomplishing a variety of ministries like: prayer walking, construction, music, performing arts, children's ministries, adult and youth outreach, evangelism, discipleship, crusades, etc.

My desire is to come alongside a church or individual to enable them to experience missions. I want to broaden people’s perspective on what God is doing around the world and how they can have an active part in reaching others for Jesus Christ. In using the short-term missions trip as a discipling tool, the local church can raise up people with a passion for seeing others come to Christ, pray effectively for missions, financially support missions and possibly go ˜to the ends of the earth" as well.

My greatest joy is seeing someone realize they can be used by God to reach and assist others. The short-term mission trip is one way the church can accomplish their goal of raising up laborers for the harvest!

TESTIMONIES

I had a blessed experience my first time as a missionary.  It changed my life and allowed me to truly experience my dependency on Jesus.
