Interactive Webinar Series Resourcing the short-term mission world through interactive webinars -
Gain valuable insight and network from your own desk-  Short-term missions is more than a fad, it is a movement! Every year literally millions of people participate in trips locally and globally. But simply showing up is not enough—we need to prepare teams to be learners and servants, responsible in their actions, and culturally sensitive. Imagine the impact on the world if each short-term missionary came home and really followed through with the life change they felt God calling them into! Yet all of this is easier said than done.
Hurricane Sandy Relief and Recovery Hurricane Sandy Relief Teams Mobilizing Thanks to the generosity of others, DELTA has established a Hurricane Sandy Grant Fund so teams serving through DELTA can apply for a grant of up to $2000 to match project funds they raise. Immediate opportunities are available for church teams to serve in New York City and New Jersey. Nine day trips begin at $550 per person plus project funds and costs of getting to the host church. Teams will participate with established churches as they clean up and restore church buildings and homes in their community. Applications for grants from the Hurricane Sandy Grant Fund will be processed on a first come, first serve basis so don't wait.

DELTA Ministries International is an interdenominational evangelical organization that supports U.S. and international local churches by specializing in Short-Term and Mid-Term missions.  Since 1979, DELTA has trained and sent over 800 churches and 8,300 individuals to make disciples in 100 countries and 30 U.S. states.

DELTA Ministries International assists the local church by training and deploying short-term mission teams throughout the world to assist national pastors, on-field missionaries, church planters and others who request a team with their ongoing ministry efforts and long-term ministry goals. DELTA's distinctive of being field-driven ensures each team meets a valid need on the field.

With over 30 years of cross-cultural ministry experience, DELTA specializes in a variety of services that help churches ensure their short-term mission team is prepared and ready to serve when they arrive on the field. These services include, but are not limited to:

  • Logistical Support
  • Pre-field Orientation
  • Comprehensive Training
  • On-Field Management
  • Debriefing

At DELTA, we believe effective training is more than a packaged product and that is why we are committed to provide a personal trainer to facilitate a training weekend at your church.

Woman and ChildAs a Christ-centered organization, all ministry functions exist for the goal of bringing people into a relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. This is accomplished by sending hundreds of Christian representatives each year, from across the U.S. (a national impact) to over 80 countries around the world who participate in evangelism, discipleship, Bible training, racial reconciliation, providing health care, addressing cultural issues faced by youth and families and much more. Those who already know Christ and serve through DELTA Ministries are also exposed to training and an environment that strengthens their relationship with Christ. They learn to trust Him for provision, protection and open doors to share the Gospel while serving in their ministry location.

DELTA maintains a strong Biblical base and has conservative roots.  Any church can apply, but in order for a church to be accepted and send a team, there must be agreement to the precepts of the DELTA Statement of Faith.

DELTA strives for excellence and voluntarily adheres to ministry and financial accountabilities as members of the Standards of Excellence in Short-Term Mission (SOE) and the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).

TESTIMONIES

Going on a trip with DELTA exposed me to the need for love, companionship and care that Americans experience.  We tend to look overseas when we first think of being part of missions.  For me, the trip was to the inner-city and it was there that my heart was shown how much love our country needs!
